Action Against Hunger (ACF) is an International Non-Governmental Organisation, private, non-political, non-denominational, and non-profit-making, established in France in 1979 and active in Jordan since 2013.
ACF, through the project “Fostering Livelihoods and Protecting Watersheds in Mujib and Wala Dams in Karak and Madaba Governorates,” funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in partnership with ACF, with the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) as the political partner, is currently soliciting bids from qualified and eligible contractors for the construction of stepped gabion check dams at two neighboring sites in Al Karak Governorate, under a remeasured contract.
